Wan 2.7 Pro is the professional-tier text-to-image variant in Alibaba's Wan 2.7 family, developed by the company's Tongyi Lab and offered through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. Beyond text-to-image, the family supports image editing, multi-image fusion, and subject feature preservation through natural-language instructions, alongside object detection and segmentation capabilities exposed in the editing API.

Relative to the standard Wan 2.7 tier, the Pro configuration is positioned as the higher-fidelity, quality-focused option. Note that the specific resolution and 4K figures circulating come from third-party API resellers rather than Alibaba's own documentation, so they should be treated cautiously. For editing tasks, the companion Wan 2.7 Pro Edit applies the same Pro-tier emphasis on detail preservation to instruction-guided modification of existing images.

Within Alibaba's broader catalog, Wan 2.7 Pro succeeds earlier Wan image generations and sits alongside the separate Qwen-based image line, including Qwen Image 2 Pro. As with other Model Studio image models, both prompts and generated images are subject to content moderation, and requests containing prohibited content return inspection errors. Generated image URLs are temporary and expire within 24 hours, so outputs must be downloaded and stored promptly.
