Wan 2.7 Enhanced is the image-to-video member of Alibaba's Wan 2.7 generation, converting a static image into motion; per Alibaba Cloud's Model Studio documentation, the Wan 2.7 image-to-video API turns a supplied image into a generated video sequence. It sits alongside the base Wan 2.7 and the text-driven Wan 2.7 Enhanced within Alibaba's Wan video family.

Compared with same-family predecessors like Wan 2.6, the biggest change is task coverage: per Alibaba Cloud's own documentation, the Wan 2.7 image-to-video API supports first-frame-to-video, first-and-last-frame-to-video, and video continuation, whereas the Wan 2.6-and-earlier image-to-video endpoint only supported first-frame-to-video.
