LTX Video 2.0 19B Distilled is the speed-optimized variant of Lightricks' LTX-2 family, released in January 2026 as an open-source model for text-to-video generation. According to Lightricks' model pages, the LTX-2 system is a multimodal generative model that produces video together with synchronized audio rather than requiring separate audio post-production. As its name indicates, this is the 19-billion-parameter checkpoint in distilled form.

This distilled checkpoint trades some output detail for speed compared with the full-quality sibling LTX Video 2.0 19B, making it the better choice for iteration and experimentation. Both share the same release date and underlying LTX-2 generation. An image-to-video counterpart, LTX Video 2.0 19B Distilled, ships alongside it.
