HappyHorse 1.0 Edit is Alibaba's video-to-video editing model, taking existing footage as input and transforming it according to a prompt rather than generating clips from scratch. It rounds out the HappyHorse 1.0 generative video family, sitting alongside the text-to-video and image-to-video entry points HappyHorse 1.0 and the HappyHorse 1.0 Reference variant, all released in late April 2026. Where those models create new video, the Edit variant specializes in re-rendering, restyling, and modifying clips you already have.

The HappyHorse line is a newer addition to Alibaba's substantial media-generation stack on the platform, which also spans the Wan video models and the Qwen Image family.
