The defining FLUX.2 advance over the prior FLUX.1 generation is architectural. Where FLUX.1 added editing through a separate toolkit—FLUX.1 Fill for inpainting and outpainting, plus Depth, Canny, and Redux controls layered atop the base model—FLUX.2 folds generation and editing into one system.
