Venice is not really private. ($VVV) To be clear, Venice itself doesn't log user data, and there isn't a centralized company harvesting prompts. But inference is handled by GPU DePIN networks like Akash and Hyperbolic, where individuals like you and me, or data centers, run it.

@ErikVoorhees How does this zero data retention thing work? I couldn’t find it under Venice’s privacy section. If you control the servers, there’s an even bigger trust assumption for users than previously.

@3dmultisig @ErikVoorhees Venice is centralized, they run it on servers they control. I would agree I trust Venice more than ChatGPT (they explicitly say they will log your data), but you shouldn’t share sensitive data
