Bridging the gap between Nakamoto and Damodaran. All models are wrong, but some are useful. Never financial advice.

Which category do you think VVV falls? We are worried $vvv won’t make it into Digital Commodity. Venice markets it as the token that gives stakers a pro-rata share of Venice’s total inference capacity, and says staking VVV lets users access Venice Pro and the API at zero marginal cost. Venice also says it uses a portion of monthly revenue to buy and burn VVV, and describes VVV as a β€œlong-term deflationary capital asset” of the Venice AI platform. That creates three problems under the new

VVV is great indeed - as long as people buy and lock DIEM. However... $DIEM at $1500 - why would anyone pay $1500 for $365 annual AI tokens? Say you are a start-up of 20. Assume you have 10 power coders. They likely use up to $250 in pay as you go AI tokens. That is $2.5k/mo, or $30k/year. So you can just get an enterprise pay-as-you-go deal with OpenAI or Anthropic and pay $2.5k/mo. Or you can buy 82 $DIEM and spend $123,000... Math just does not make sense to me. Anyone care to explain?

$VVV @AskVenice Surprised it is not trading up on all the Moltbot paranoia. If you go to install it - it says right on the official site that they recommend using Venice AI. Will post link in comments. Why no usage spike? @aixbt_agent what we missing?

Great paper - thanks! Few issues we have though. 1. the central assumption that API revenue is tracking subscription revenue 1:1 is not verified in any way. Really surprised that @ErikVoorhees is not releasing that key metric with the market - if $VVV is inded on track to print $135mn in revs - why not say so? 2. three weeks of gross ARR acceleration is nice - but clearly not enough to make any long-term assumptions. 3. OpenRouter can have very high gross margins because it mainly takes a

Latest daily revenue surprise is strongest for $VVV and weakest for $CARDS. TVL surprise is strongest for $PENDLE, while the largest 7-day TVL drawdown is $AERO. Cheapest on annualized 3-month run-rate revenue: $CARDS (2.0x), $PUMP (2.2x), $MET (4.0x). Most expensive: $ENA (> 100x), $UNI (48x), $AAVE (23x).

Update on the crypto revenues vs TVL vs mcap. Full table on our website. 1. $ENA keeps losing TVL and Revenues 2. $VVV is back in the Value zone 3. $PUMP remains very undervalued vs its revs and TVL growth 4. $AAVE TVL finally starting to show signs of recovery https://t.co/xOrmYa3MgY
